Hi there! My name is Kara Smith, financial coach, and I look forward to taking this journey with you! You see, I’ve had my share of financial ups and downs. Married young, divorced young, $2K in my pocket, debt, but I took a chance on myself and moved to Los Angeles, CA. With 2 part time jobs, 3 side hustles, and a volunteer position (because, you know, I still had a few minutes left in the day), I was able to regain control of my life, my finances, and stand on my own two feet. That, in combination with the support of family, I found my freedom…and a new life!
You see, financial freedom takes three ingredients: courage, determination, and support. And it doesn’t matter whether you’re looking to build a solid money plan (aka budget), get out of debt, or build a legacy for future generations, I believe you and your family can do it!

By establishing your goals FIRST, my coaching will be tailored to your exact needs and from there, we create the action steps needed for you to LIVE how you want to live. For me, gardening is a MUST and my plan reflects it.

The world is changing incredibly fast and kids are growing up even faster than before! Building a financial legacy is more than inheritance, it is the passing on of healthy money habits that sets up future generations well.
